It has been five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in.
In 2007 – an independent film called “Paranormal Activity” went completely viral, prompting fans from all over the country to demand that it be shown in theaters. It wasn’t the first movie in the “Found Footage” genre of film work.. but it sure made an impact.
In 2010 – a sequel was released, answering some questions left over from the first – it wasn’t quite a good as PA1, but definitely worth watching.
In 2011 – the franchise brought more answers to questions that we weren’t even asking. The franchise kinda “Jumped the Shark” at this point, and they should have left well enough alone.
In 2012 – A boring, predictable, snooze-fest haunted our theaters. This latest installment of the Paranormal Activity Franchise, is surely, the sequel that should never have happened. I found no scares, no thrills, just a sum of money missing from my wallet. I usually pick up movies to complete sequels, but.. this one would be a total waste of my time.
Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time and money. If you must watch it, wait for it to come out on Netflix.
