When Wendy Christensen has a vision of an accident on the roller coaster, resulting in her and her friends’ deaths, she instantly begins to panic, causing more of her friends to be left of the ride. The remaining friends, including Wendy’s boyfriend, are stuck on the roller coaster and find themselves involved in the accident. With death waiting around the corner, Wendy and Kevin Fischer must try and work out death’s plan, before they and the remaining survivors end up dead. (Source: IMDB)

The Rube Goldberg of Death continues in the third installment of the Final Destination Franchise. I would watch this movie only if you want to continue the franchise. The formula is set, and repeating. A premonition warns someone about a disaster, he freaks out and causes others to be saved, only to fall into death’s plan, one by one.. once again.

It’s at this point in the franchise that I really wish they’d stop looking up premonitions on the internet and finding info on Flight 180. Really, from here on end, it gets kinda tiresome.

The deaths in this installment are kinda pushing it.

  • Ashley and Ashlyn – Tanning beds
    • Based more on urban legends than an actual event. You have a better chance of dying of skin cancer, than cooking alive in a tanning bed
  • Frankie – Head shredded by engine fan
    • The chances of an engine flying out of a truck is slim, but has happened
  • Lewis – Head crushed by falling weights
    • Why is there always an angry person who insists that this is all bullshit, who ends up dying in the middle of a rant?
  • Perry – Impaled by Flag pole
    • Very improbable..
  • Ian – Crushed by falling crane
    • Could happen, but not likely
  • Julie – Flying train wheel
  • Kevin – Crushed outside out of control train
  • Laura – Killed in train crash
  • Shawn – Killed in train crash
  • Wendy – Hit by another train, after surviving the 1st train crash
    • I’ll group all of the train deaths together.. subway train comes off the tracks, it’s not going to keep going. It’s going to hit a wall, and stop.
