When two bus crash survivors awake to discover that they are the only people left in their town, they work together to unravel the truth behind the strange events.
Yet another gem found on Netflix. This time, my wife found it! The low budget is only evident a few times during this film. A thought provoking story, good acting.. pretty damned good all around. With just a little more of a budget, this could have been worthy of a wider theater release. I won’t divulge any of the pivotal plot points because I want you to watch it for yourself and discover the clues.
Freddy (Steven Strait) and Ana (Karolina Wydra) meet on a bus, on their way home.. suddenly, they’re in an accident, and all goes black. They awaken in their own homes, unkempt.. they discover they’ve been out for approximately two months. In their search, they find that everyone else is missing.. and a strange black wall of smoke surrounds the town.
