Victor Frankenstein

James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe star in a dynamic and thrilling twist on a legendary tale. Radical scientist Victor Frankenstein (McAvoy) and his equally brilliant protégé Igor Strausman (Radcliffe) share a noble vision of aiding humanity through their groundbreaking research into immortality. But Victor’s experiments go too far, and his obsession has horrifying consequences. Only Igor can bring his friend back from the brink of madness and save him from his monstrous creation

I just returned from viewing “Victor Frankenstein”.

This was a good movie. Daniel Ratcliff and James McAvoy were great in their respective roles in this different take of the classic story. This time, instead of focusing solely on the monster, we follow the meeting, and friendship, of Igor and Victor. Not just reduced to a lab assistant, Igor is a savant in the realm of Science – self taught, his quick thinking and knowledge of anatomy quickly gain the admiration of Victor, who is driven by the need to balance death with creation.

For Sci/Horror fans, a must have for your collection.
