And suddenly, overnight, the world came to a halt. Two men, two survivors, one kid, and hatred that separates them. A place forgotten by everyone, including the creatures that inhabit the Earth… until now.
Another great example of Less being More. It’s tension you can cut with a knife as two former friends now live in a world where they may very well be the last survivors. What kind of hate could keep these two part in such circumstances?
There’s nothing to hate in this movie, except maybe the bleak winter of never ending snow, and isolation. The acting was good, the makeup effects where good… what little bit of CGI there is, was not obvious to the eye. The story is gripping, and rates up there with the best of the “Rage Zombie” sub-genre.
I have little doubt that a big Hollywood studio would have messed this all up.
