Before she was Wonder Woman she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained warrior. When a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, she leaves home to fight a war to end all wars, discovering her full powers and true destiny.
It was good, and I liked it!
Was it the greatest thing to come out of Hollywood, ever?? no.. but it was a giant leap forward for movies with a female lead. And a much needed win for the DC Cinematic Universe. Definitely worth a trip to the theater, and purchase for the home collection.
Honestly, I felt that a good balance was reached with her knowledge (or lack) of the outside world, without making her look stupid. There was no man-bashing, which is what some guys where expecting.. yes, there was a line about men not being necessary for pleasure, but I wasnt offended by it, because.. we’re not.. (and nor are women necessary for men’s pleasure).
If you have a daughter, this is the super hero movie to go see.
