Edward and Carter have something in common. They were just told they have 6 months to live. Now, with the help of Edward’s vast fortune, the pair travel the globe, completing their “Bucket List” (A list of things to get done before they “kick the bucket”).
I honestly didn’t think I was going to like this movie. The wife put it on while I was fixing dinner and I have to say that it surprised me. Not because I dont like Jack Nicholson or Morgan Freeman.. I just dont do touchy-feely movies. And though it had comedic moments, this was a drama.
Jack Nicholson is fantastic in this film.. as he always is in everything he does. It had been so long since I’ve seen him act, I completely forgot how good he is. Morgan Freeman is.. Morgan Freeman. I really don’t know if he IS a great actor.. because he’s the same in every movie he’s ever in. He’s the smartest guy in the room with a silky voice. It doesn’t matter the role. That’s who he ends up being. I’ve never seen him stride out of that range, and therefore, I have to assume that if Morgan is in it. He’ll be the smartest guy in the room, with the silky voice.
I really didn’t have any issues with any aspect of the movie. I know that’s hard for my followers to hear, but really.. it was good. Rent it, buy it, see it.
