Kong: Skull Island

BumpMapFrame

A diverse team of scientists, soldiers and adventurers unite to explore a mythical, uncharted island in the Pacific, as dangerous as it is beautiful. Cut off from everything they know, the team ventures into the domain of the mighty Kong, igniting the ultimate battle between man and nature. As their mission of discovery becomes one of survival, they must fight to escape a primal Eden in which humanity does not belong.

The latest installment of the “Giant Monster Movie” revival was released and I’ve gotta say, it was damned good. Ranking right up there with the reboot of Godzilla (2014). I think it was handled just right by all involved. All the acting, and effects was just spot on for the story. I really have no complaints.

Parents might find it a little gory for younger viewers – I honestly think they pushed the PG13 boundries in a few places. And make sure to stay for the after credit scenes that ties all the upcoming movies together.
